Great performance ; Decent 3D imagery ; Bright and beautiful display

Subpar battery life ; Choppy video capture ; Runs Froyo

The Thrill 4G is a decent dual-core device placed at an affordable price point.

LG Thrill 4G (AT&T)

The AT&T LG Thrill 4G is a high-quality, dual-core Android phone that features a 3D camera and 3D gaming. But the 4G here isn't really 4G.

Excellent voice quality. Dual-core speed. HDMI output.

Pixelated 3D images. So-so camera. HSPA 14.4 is not 4G.

Android and App PerformanceThe Thrill 4G runs Android 2.2.2 on a TI OMAP 4430 chipset, the same dual-core, 1GHz processor found in the Motorola Droid 3 ($199, 3 stars) for Verizon Wireless. According to our benchmarks, it's of comparable speed to the...

LG Thrill 4G Review

The first announced 3D phone was the European LG Optimus 3D, but here in the US, it's actually the HTC EVO 3D that's spreading the word regarding the novel feature into the minds of consumers, as it hit Sprint's shelves a couple of months ago. Very...

LG Thrill 4G Review (AT&T)

The LG Thrill 4G is naturally the AT&T version of the LG Optimus 3D, which we previously reviewed. It's designed to compete with the HTC EVO 3D on

Glasses-free 3D screen for 3D games & 3D Movies ; Fast dual-core performance ; 3D Photo and Video Recording ; 1080p 2D video recording ; 30fps video recording ; HDMI output

Poor battery life depending on usage ; Ships with 16-month-old Android 2.2 Froyo ; A bit thick ; 3D screen can make your eyes tired ; 3D effect doesn't support head tracking or angle of incident

The big reason to get the LG Thrill 4G is not for the 4G, but for the 3D. As everyone says, it is a bit of a gimmick. You can only see it at the right distance at the right angle and in landscape mode. The 3D tends to tire out your eyes, or make you...

LG Thrill 4G review

The Thrill 4G is the second Android smartphone in the United States capable of recording and displaying 3D video and photos without the need for special glasses. We first saw the phone during CTIA earlier this year and, after delays, it will launch...

I like the Thrill 4G because LG tried to differentiate itself with a device that could display and record 3D content. It’s a fun concept and works in practice, but it’s hard to recommend a phone simply because it offers 3D as an option. The third...

LG Thrill 4G Preview: a 3D Phone Headed for AT&T

For faster performance, the Thrill 4G is going to be not only the first 3D phone for the US market with dual-core processing, but also the first with "dual-channel" technology, he contended

On the whole, I found playing around with the Thrill's 3D content to be sort of entertaining. Yet at this point, I'm among those who wouldn't be willing to pay much more for the LG Thrill 4G than for any other high-end Android OS phone. I'm not sure...

LG Thrill 4G Review - Android Phone Reviews by MobileTechReview

AT&T's first 3D phone, the LG Thrill 4G, was a wise choice. The Thrill is the US version of the LG Optimus 3D, a phone that was well received in Europe. It has high end specs that include a dual core 1GHz CPU, a 4.3" 3D display, HD 2D and 3D video...

High end specs and performance at a low price, enjoyable 3D

Display viewing angles not great

We really like the LG Thrill 4G, especially at the surprisingly low $99 contract price. It's a fast dual core Android phone, and though we're a little disappointed that it runs Android OS 2.2 Froyo, AT&T says it will get the Gingerbread 2.3 upgrade....

AT&T LG Thrill

AT&T’s Thrill could have been named for its 3D capability alone. The option still feels a bit gimmicky, but the phone makes a relatively inexpensive buy considering its performance capabilities. It comes with a 1 GHz dual core processor and is 4G...
