LG Rumor review: LG Rumor

LG Rumor

The LG Rumor has a lovely design, with a built-in hidden QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging. Features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, an MP3 player, Bluetooth, and more. It provides easy access to Facebook, plus it supports Sprint Navigation.

The LG Rumor does not have EV-DO, and surfing the Web can be quite slow. The screen has poor resolution, and the camera has no flash.

Though the LG Rumor is not as fast as we'd like, it's still a great messaging multimedia device for those who don't need a lot of speed.

LG Rumor Review

The LG Rumor is the first non-smartphone in Sprint's lineup to offer a QWERTY keypad, and with direct access to Facebook, a built in AOL Instant Messaging client and a 1.3 megapixel camera it is clear that this device is aimed squarely at the teenage...

LG Rumor Reviewed

The LG Rumor is a decent multi-media phone that, despite being a non-smartphone, still gives the feel of a smartphone with its in-built QWERTY keypad and allows text addicts to engage in text messaging with ease.

LG Rumor Plus

Deviating from the standard alphanumeric and QWERTY keypad combo found on previous Rumour-branded handsets, the LG Rumour Plus (aka Neon 2) now sports a 2.4-inch touchscreen display. An enhancement for sure, don't be fooled. This is not your typical...

LG Rumor White

Rumor is a basic candy bar phone with a focus on messaging, and in this regard it really shone in my tests. I found the handset easy and fun to use so long as I kept to its strengths: Messaging and more messaging with voice calling and limited Web ...

Compact, rugged design with full QWERTY keyboard ; Easy to use ; Auto-rotating display ; Good SMS, IM, and Email integration

Limited functionality beyond voice calling and messaging ; No Power Vision access makes for slow Web browsing ; Reports of laggy software and keyboard issues (I encountered none) ; Weak camera

LG Rumor video review

I was going through my things this week and I found a fairly cool entry-level phone that I never even reviewed. It's the LG Rumor and it's a great messaging phone - not as bulky as the Sidekick and much cheaper (about $75 with contract). I kind of miss...
