Samsung Solstice SGH-a887 (AT&T)

The Samsung Solstice SGH-a887 is a decent option for AT&T subscribers looking for a touch screen handset without the expensive data plans common to smartphones.

Svelte, lightweight design. Good balance of features for the price.

Proprietary headphone jack. Memory card slot located underneath the battery.

Samsung Solstice SGH-A887 review

When Samsung introduces a new cell phone in the United States, it's often the case that we've seen it somewhere before. And that's definitely true with the new Samsung Solstice for AT&T . Also called the SGH-A887, the Solstice sports a touch-screen...

The Samsung Solstice has an easy-to-use touch interface and a useful set of multimedia features. Photo quality is quite good.

The Samsung Solstice lacks instant messaging and the memory card slot is behind the battery. Call quality, browser speed, and video performance are unimpressive.

The Samsung Solstice offers a touch screen and multimedia features, but its performance isn't the best.

Review Of Samsung Solstice SGH-A887 Cell Phone

Intrinsic features offered by the solstice include a vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging, a calendar, a calculator, a memo pad, a task list, a tip calculator, an alarm clock, a world clock, a timer, a stopwatch, a currency and unit converter,...

Killer looks. Easy to use touch interface. Loaded with multimedia features

2.0 megapixel camera, could've been better. Run-of-the mill browser speed and video performance

: I think Samsung has almost run out of ideas because frankly speaking this phone does not have anything really nice or new to offer as compared to the other phones launched by the company, except for the looks. If you’re looking out for an average...

Review Of Samsung Solstice SGH-A887 AT&T Cell Phone

Samsung is the company with the asset of numerous phones in the pocket. There are as many as hundreds of devices they have introduced in US. They are always appreciated by the better and innovative style, better quality, technological advancement,...

Samsung has one of the best simplicity in the mobile device so that any new users even can have the use with quite ease. The touch sense of the device is also notable and it has got the splendid effect of the style in it. As usual the video quality is...

The Samsung Solstice is the better device for the video and all but it hasn't got the service of instant messaging and also the memory card is located behind the battery so for any reason of memory card, the battery has to get removed which results in...

:The Samsung Solstice on paper is one of the best stuff with the quality of touch screen and multi media but still there is a great lacking of performance and effective speed of the device. Still if you are a lover of Samsung, this phone can prove a...

Samsung Solstice Review

The Samsung Solstice is a consumer-oriented smartphone with 3-inch touchscreen that uses Samsung's TouchWiz user interface. Jen Edwards brings us this review.

Very small and lightweight, Large touchscreen display, Excellent virtual keyboard, Easy to use, no complicated menus, Vibrant color display and multiple vibrating alerts

Camera could be better (though I admit I’m hard to please in this area), External speaker could be better — volume is great, but music sounds a little flat, Proprietary charging port, and no standard headphone jack, microSD card slot is located under...

Samsung Solstice Review - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

Samsung's TouchWiz touch screen phones have marched in vast numbers into the US. From the customized Omnia on Verizon, to the Behold, Highlight and Memoir on T-Mobile to the Eternity and Impression on AT&T, they've become a near ubiquitous alternative...

Fun and easy to use, complete set of features including GPS, a music player, Bluetooth, 3G and video playback. Very good touch screen. Not bad looking and feels good in the hand ;

Lower-spec features than the Eternity yet it costs more. MicroSD card slot is blocked by the battery. GPS was sometimes quirky. Poor camera

The Samsung Solstice is a good-looking and fun phone. It's got plenty of features including a very good touch screen (not as good as the iPhone's but that's a tall order), good call management features including voice and speed dial, 3G with CV...
