I've been using Linux since May 2006 and this is the first time I've encountered a mouse that needed a custom kernel on my laptop. As I already use a custom kernel, I just switched on PS/2 support and rebuilt the kernel and it worked. Linux users out...

It works with few issues on an OS with no official support, gets about 17 days battery life under heavy use with the stock AAA batteries. Considering most mice run through a 4 pack of AA within a week with me, I'm actually quite impressed with it.

Some Linux systems need to use a custom kernel to make it work correctly (buttons 4 and 5) this is a kernel limitation, not an Xorg limitation. Just enable the PS/2 driver and it works (I know it's USB, but my laptop detects it as a PS/2 mouse). The...
