Works great, very heavy

 

This thing is a back breaker to move around. As stated above it can't be mounted on just front rails, it needs rear support. I happened to be mounting on the bottom of our rack so I was able to brace it off of the bottom, if you're going to mount it up...

Lot of power, rack mountable, software isn't too terrible to setup

Way way too heavy to rack mount without rear support. Would have been nice if they included a bracket to mount to rear rails as well. Also it requires using traditional serial instead of USB for software.

Died silently

 

I've owned mine for three years, during which it was rock solid despite truly flaky mains power in my area. Went through three office moves, getting dropped twice, and kept right on going.

After 3 years, it died. I consider this a pretty good tenure for a UPS, as they usually die after a year or two. The problem is the way it died: no warning lights, no beeps. Instead, it started randomly dropping voltage, crashing the server connected...

This replaced a tripplite 1500 that died on us after 2 years. This thing was cheaper than the tripplite but had better wattage and voltages. This is a very heavy power supply. It was a chore getting it into my rack. I wish it had a digital display on...
