The only con I can think of has to do with Vista, not the computer itself. I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse, but the Logitech SetPoint 4.60 software doesn't play well with Vista and Logitech has no answers as of yet. Also, the "internet time"...

By The Way

Be sure to download the BIOS update from Gateway to get control of the settings. As delivered, its hard to get to all the settings on the installed BIOS.

great value

Bad luck with Asus/ATI video card add-on, had to wipe the machine and will stay with on-board video for now. Gateway Portable Media Drive for open drive bay is hard to find.

plenty of HD space for dual-boot, lots of RAM, too

Run the recovery back-up utility if you want copies any of the included software. Included disc has only the O/S and Gateway won't sell you a recovery disc "because its a refurb

Dont Buy, Big Mistake

Gateway service is slow and be ready to be put on hold for 2-3 hours

Nothing, it never powered on

Bad Computer with a lot of problems, it never turned on. there is a problem with all these hard drives, hence the low price, save yourself the trouble get a better computer
