cheaper than buying direct through hp

installed second 500gb wd hd with xp home for client. tracking down drivers was a bit difficult as hp/compaq doesn't provide any xp drivers at all.

great for an entry level system, nothing special as far as hardware but easily upgradable and at a good price

Good for the price

For $ 249.00 plus Free Shipping. No Complaint. I owned one Desktop and Notebook from Compaq. I think it is a lot better than DELL.

I have put 3 of these out to customers in the last 6 weeks. This is a mail and internet pc without putting in more memory. Perfect for those old low memory/small hardrive xp machine replacements.

It is what it is - basic system for those that just need internet. I am buying another for a customer, thus it gets 4 stars. More and more older clients just need access to the net and open office.

Bought for a customer. Surprised by the bx layout. Setup was quick compared to HP I did earlier in the week ; Simple setup and a minimum of Bloatware ; Win7 home premium

Found errors in the event viewer from build date ; It started doing a .net compile every now and then that would take 100% CPU. I may have loaded something that used .net or it could be the HP Advisor that uses it ; I reloaded. Plus the ipv6 causes...
