The HP Laptop 17 has a decent sound system behind it, but it’s subpar in color depth, brightness and processor performance. If the laptop didn’t look as ugly and feel as cheap as it does, it might be more appealing, but there’s not much to praise...

It is a good size. It does everything that is asked of it. Battery life is good. Good value for money.

I would have liked the keyboard to have a back light.

Light comes on when capris used. Lovely feel to keys. Well made, solid and expensive feel. My best computer yet.

I do a lot of music and videos .. the big screen helps a lot and the I5 processer is fast enough to cope with HD films and Wave music files.

I could not get the external microphone port to work its only 1 for headphones/mic.

It looses very often internet connection. My old laptop was a race horse compared to this one.
