Glossy... really glossy but at least no one is going to be able to sneak up from from behind and attack you

This thing is great and really pops. I have always liked the HP monitors with the glossy finish

It does have the glossy finish so it does have glare if you are in a bright room

Glossy front bring you sharp and clean view, best for multimedia play as well as text task. High quality image view as Apple cinema while comparing with semi gloss samsung monitor. $100 more if you want to get Samsung glossy one

Not a super perfect on contrast and respond time but, led has bright enough which you can adjust. No problem for everyday use for regular users

Thin, great picture, color right out of the box, low power consumption, large screen(obviously). Never been a huge fan of HP computers, but they really do make an excellent monitor!! Got this baby on sale for $279

Looking at it straight on is perfect, but from other angles, it puts off a high glossy blur...best way I can describe it. As others have said, this screen is highly reflective, as I have a sliding glass door right behind my computer desk

The monitor is great - it looks really good and is pretty big for the price at least when I bought it. The stand is nice and sturdy feeling as well

The monitor has an outboard power supply. It makes a fairly loud, high pitch squeal while the monitor is on which is really annoying, so much so that I'll be replacing it with another supply. I would have expected something better from a company like HP

Heehee, I got it for two hundred ninety-nine, next day it bounced up to three fifty. I would buy it for three fifty ; It is very thin, and unfortunately lacks VESA mounts, but I wouldn't likely use 'em anyway, just would be nice for them to be there....

The stand could be a little bit better, (Adjust up/down) just have to purchased a stand, but at least it tilts back with some flexibility
