Nocs NS600 Crush earphones review: Lightweight design, rich sound

While they're a little pricey at $149.99, the Nocs NS600 Crush are comfortably lightweight earbuds that sound very good and offer strong bass performance.

The ; earbuds are lightweight and comfortable, and offer very good sound with strong bass. They also have an Apple-friendly inline remote/microphone and ship with a nice carrying case.

These headphones are somewhat expensive; the thin cord is prone to tangling (compared with headphones with a flat-cord design).

Review: Nocs NS600 Crush

The Nocs NS600 earphones from Sweden are advertised as being specially tuned for electronic music, but they work exceptionally well for most other flavors, as...

Super-crisp sound and wide dynamic range from the dual-driver design. Excellent for techno, hip-hop and jazz. Lightweight aluminum construction and classy looks. Variety of tips, so finding a good fit is easy

Once you veer out of electro-land, not the best performance at higher volumes. About too expensive — other 0 earbuds are slightly better. Flimsy carrying case

Nocs NS600 Crush review

Nocs, a fairly new Swedish company, has been quickly expanding its line of earphones, which now includes more than half a dozen models. Earlier I reviewed the NS400 , a midrange model that retails for around $79.99 online. I liked that model and the...

Nocs NS600 Crush review

The earphone technology consists of a tweeter for highs and woofer for bass (two drivers per earphone) so they should deliver much better sound than most entry-level earphones.

If you’re into dance and electronic music then these headphones deliver exceptional quality. They’re not cheap though, and if you have a wider taste in music you should probably go for something a little more accurate.

Nocs NS600 review

Designed for iPod, iPad and iPhone by Swedish audio firm Nocs, the NS600 in-ear headphones make a good first impression. From the smart aluminium housing to the chic product packaging – each component is individually wrapped like a hot towel in an...

Attractive and smartly designed, the Nocs NS600 earphones nevertheless fail in the one area that really counts: sound quality. It’s shallow and tinny and there’s no bass to speak of. A disappointment.

NOCS NS600 Crush earphones

Designed in Sweden, the NOCS NS600 Crush earphones offer a minimalistic, appealing design with audio to match. The silver earphones, with black trim, won't capture the eye of a passer-by with bright colours or an overly ambitious design. Rather the...

Beautiful design; different earbuds included; in-line remote

Audio balance limits music genres

Bottom line. NOCS’ NS600 Crush earphones are beautifully minimalistic, with an unobtrusive silver and black colour scheme. Offering clear – occasionally shrill – treble and thumping bass, the earphones will suit a select music listener. The in-line...

Nocs NS600 Crush review

The Nocs NS600 crush earphones combine powerful bass with clear highs that give it a unique performance, especially suited to dance and electronic music

Powerful bass, stylish design, kevlar-coated wire, great for dance fans

Midrange isn't so hot for traditional rock music

If you’re into dance and electronic music then these headphones deliver exceptional quality. They’re not cheap though, and if you have a wider taste in music you should probably go for something a little more accurate.
