AT&T Tilt2

It won't swing iPhone or BlackBerry fans, but the AT&T Tilt2 offers a super-sharp touch screen, plenty of media features, and a solid five-row QWERTY keyboard.

Screen and keyboard to die for. Excellent Web browser. TouchFLO-enhanced Windows Mobile 6.5 UI looks sharp. Solid battery life.

Heavy. Horrendous headphone dongle. Buggy. Expensive.

Camera and Conclusions The 3.2-megapixel camera had a major problem with glare; it couldn't adjust to sunlight even indoors, and outdoor shots overexposed bright areas. Photos were also surprisingly noisy, even in brightly lit backyard shots....

Slider phones have become increasingly popular, but until now they've been limited to models that are best used with two hands. That changes with AT&T's newest Windows Mobile device, which you can either hold in your hands or rest comfortably on a...

Roomy slide-out screen tilts High-capacity microSD support

Shiny, difficult-to-read navigation keys Some operations are slow

The volume wheel on the upper-left side conveniently doubles as a navigation wheel, the SIM card is located under the slider screen for easy accessibility (a boon to world travelers who frequently interchange SIM cards), and the microSDHC card slot...

AT&T Tilt / HTC 8925

AT&T's new Tilt smartphone serves up major multimedia and messaging power.

Fast. High-speed, global wireless connectivity. Excellent integration with Microsoft apps. Good phone

Chunky design. BlackBerry Connect slows the device considerably ; Watch the AT&T Tilt Video Review

This brawny, do-it-all device integrates seamlessly with Microsoft apps to create the perfect mobile office for Windows users, while plenty of multimedia features, along with a nifty tilting screen, keep you entertained on the road.

Review: AT&T Tilt

3G? It's in there. Wi-Fi? It's in there. GPS? It's in there. In fact, the AT&T Tilt promises, on paper, every wireless standard you could...

You’ll never be offline (at least while the battery has juice): It contains just about every radio known to man. Very good call quality. Big, bright display. Tilt screen feature is much more useful than it sounds. Intuitive controls. Wide variety of...

Pitiful, nearly useless speakerphone. Pocket-challenging in size and hefty at 6.6 ounces. Windows Mobile lags and hampers productivity, particularly with web browsing. GPS service plan costs extra

HTC Tilt 8925

Amid all the big-name smartphone manufacturers, HTC has been quietly making some of the best products out there. The HTC Tilt certainly fits the bill. Though not as sexy as the HTC Touch, the Tilt is an ideal device for heavy-duty messaging. It's bulky...

Review: HTC Tilt2 from at&t

Having finished my time with the HTC Pure I have now turned my attention to the second device from at&t to sport Windows Mobile 6.5, the HTC Tilt2. After

The Tilt2 is solid and well built business centered device. While the internals have not been updated over the Fuze or Touch Pro as some would have liked the addition of Windows Mobile 6.5 and the updated hardware make this a highly desirable upgrade...

AT&T Tilt2 Preview

The new model is significantly bulkier than either of its predecessors, but this makes room for a very large, high-resolution touchscreen and a roomy landscape-oriented QWERTY keyboard

That puts it below the price of T-Mobile and Sprint's versions of this smartphone ($350 with contract and MIR), but above Verizon's ($200 with contract and MIR)

AT&T Tilt (HTC 8295)

Perhaps the most widely known Windows Mobile 6 smart phone right now is the AT&T Tilt (HTC 8295). It is one of AT&T's newest smart phones running the brand new Windows Mobile 6 operating system from Microsoft. The design of the Tilt puts it in a league...

Lots of Connectivity Options ; Easy-to-Use Keyboard ; Brilliant Screen ; Excellent call quality

Camera quality is mediocre ; Bulky design

Review: AT&T Tilt

At first glance the Tilt may look like just a minor upgrade to its predecessor, the 8525, but that would be a seriously wrong assumption to make. The ATT

GPS included, Nice sliding keyboard with the ability to tilt the screen, Easy keyboard to type on, Very bright screen, 256 mb of ROM, 128 mb of RAM, WiFi

Heavy, Sluggish response time, Does not include a cradle, Not as many hardware buttons as some other WM PDA phones

There is no doubt that this is a solidly built phone. It feels like it could take the normal daily use abuse in stride and still continue to work just fine. The sliding keyboard is well built. It is comfortable to hold in my hand as well as nicely...
