I needed a longer cable for my headset, and I didn't want the headaches of another wireless device, so I opted for the extra cord. Radioshack branded, works great with little signal loss.

This is an ordinary non-coil cord. Since coils cause more problems than they solve, that is a plus!

I used this to hook up MP3 player to a surround sound system, and the 1 end was not manufactured correctly and has intermittant connectivity. It's hard to listen in stero when 1/2 the signal is not going through the cable.
