I have had two of the leading competitors dual players, and have this one in my bedroom. I must say this one is the best, I haven't had to replace any of my videos, it is faster, and the DVD player plays everything!

I bought this for my daughters' room and it is reliable and it's great for us folks who still own a library of vcr tapes!

There are several brands of these DVD/VCR combos priced about the same, but the Memorex (to me) appears and functions as a better made unit and doesn't take up alot of space like some other units do.
