picture and sound is great but limited use

Unfortunately, most people will buy this setup specifically to copy favorite vhs stuff (especially personal, family tapes, etc.) onto more stable, and permanant dvd technology.

This is my third DVD stand alone burner and its the best so far. The DVDs work in all my other players thats been the thing they may have worked out...Just got it yesterday so let you know more later.

I am disgusted with the unit. I call the number provided for help and they don't seem to know anymore than I do. I still cannot get the unit to record on the DVD or VCR. The only good thing is I can play DVD/VCRs that are recorded without any problem....

I record both dvd and vcr,, both working good so far,, I will be testing this vcr,,, on a long recording,,, at least 5 to 6 hours,,, hope that will work,,, the main problem with the remote is that the lettering is so ((small)) you have to have a flash...
