Good for the first month or so

 

Would not buy Canon again. This is the second Canon printer that did this to me.

Easy set up and wifi connection for remote print

Black ink does not work. It uses up the color inks in black print mode. Print head gunks up after six months and needs to be carefully cleaned. This is basically to make you spend $70 every other month for ink while your black cartridge sits there unused

Highly recommend this if your priority is photo printing and scanning.

Outstanding photo print quality. Everything from installation to use has been without problems. Normal document text is adequate and sharp. Using the 35mm file scanning was better than expected also. Some negatives scan nearly as good as the original...

Should have included a fax capability and print cartridges should be larger so they would last longer

Excellent multifunction printer. Impressed with printer features including the firmware capabilities to print. Screen is nice. Power saving feature. Integrated with network seamlessly. Printouts look good. Software and drivers are excellent so far

While the software is excellent it still is bloated. Ink tanks are small - not looking forward to replacing those if this is used a lot
